My Band
My band, were do i start!
Well we have been together for about a year now.
Haven't had that gooder luck with names, when i did my last count we had had 7 names, in order they are, The Case, Anti Matter, Xavier, Euros, Pheonix, Sound Scape and now hopefully we will keep the name Chypher.
Well unlike bebo and MySpace you don't have a limit on how many words you can use, so here i go, this is the offical biography of Thecaseantimatterxaviereurospheonixsoundscapechypher!
It all started when I met Danny Ebdale in the Northcross Library. It was at that moment in time when the thought of having a band popped up into Matthew's head. He had been playing guitar for about 2 and a bit years and it was one of those "freeze your ass off" august days. Some could say fate brought us together for if it wasn't that freezing day, i would of never gone into the library!
Our bassist Raj was in my class that year and already had a band with Danny called "The Case" so that was great, i hopped on the band wagon and i have never looked back!
A couple of weeks later we renamed the band Anti Matter, I thought that name up! and finally started or first album "End of the Cosmix". We have been tinkling around with the album for nearly a year now, but soon enough it will be finished and we can finally start our second album "Climax of Man".
Well if we back track a bit we can have a look at the name controversy! It was the New Year of 2007 and I was over in America. I had thought up the best name for a band "Xavier", the reason why i wanted to change the name in the first place is, becasue there was already a band called Anti Matter and I hated it, ahen i got back into New Zealand and asked Danny and Raj what they thought of it they hated it! but i wasn't going to give up, i made it our name and force feed it through the band for the next 3 months. but finally i could see that the band wasn't working so i gave up and we reverted into Anti Matter.
But then we had a very big discussion and came up with a name "Pheonix" it was our name for the next 2 or so months, but then I came up with the name "Sound Scape" so then THAT was our name, but we have now go one! name and one! name only Chypher.
So there we are a nearly complete overlook of my bands history!
